Pollution In-Cabin Measurement System (PIMS)
With a wide range of air quality measurements, integrated GPS, OBD, and geofencing capabilities, The NAQTS Pollution In-Cabin Measurement System (PIMS) is the perfect choice for measuring inside and outside vehicles.
Measurements
The NAQTS PIMS measures Particle Number, PM2.5, PM10, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, and Volatile Organic Compounds. The NAQTS PIMS is also fitted with Temperature, Pressure, and Relative Humidity measurements coupled with 3D accelerometer and 3D gyro for vibration. External GPS and Noise (dBA) measurements are facilitated through the available USB ports. There is also the option of 4 integrated Thermal Desorption tubes available for full VOCs speciation.
Installation
The NAQTS PIMS unit is mounted inside a mannequin with air being sampled through the mouth region. This provides two clear benefits; firstly, the sampling location is located at the mouth / nose location of a human, and secondly, the system (with the PIMS located inside the mannequin) can be easily and quickly put into vehicles and secured using a seat-belt.
